Has the Greensboro News and Record reported that City revenues have dropped almost $20 million in three years?

If the City is going to go through $85 million in savings in three years, our elected leaders would definately have told the public during the budget process.

And they would have told us how much our revenues are falling.

And if this is true and they didn't tell the public after passing a budget $1 million bigger than last year, they misrepresented the City's financial condition.

John Hammer would have reported this by now if these numbers are true.

Stop it George.

Just Stop.

If our leaders are not telling us this, there must be a very good reason, for which they don't have to tell us.

Why do we need to know all this nonsense?

You always see evil in the actions of government.

I am sure there is a perfectly reasonable explination.

You just don't know what you're talking about.

Greensboro's City Staff would never let something like this happen.

Greensboro City Staff would rather spend down all the cash before they have to fire themselves.
