Fecund Stench FOIA Requests for Rashad Young and Brenda Fox Jones on Robbie Perkins and Guilford County Commissioners

The great majority of mankind are satisfied with appearance
as though they were realities,
and are often more influenced by the things that seem,
than those that are.

Ramirez: The Kurgan. He is the strongest of all the immortals. He's the *perfect* warrior. If he wins the Prize, mortal man would suffer an eternity of darkness.

Connor MacLeod: How do you fight such a savage?

Ramirez: With heart, faith and steel.

In the end there can be only one.

Machiavelli's peasants didn't have FOIA

So Robbie sneaks in a tax break request under cover of the name of an LLC.

The commisioners vote to give Robbie county taxpayer money as they face a $20 million deficit on top of $27 million in school cuts.

These people are stealing from our children.

From News 14 on the School Budget

"The budget called for the elimination of some jobs.

"There are 25.65 positions that have been identified for being either cut or being redirected from, for example, local funding to either bond funding or local funding to other federal funds," said [Mo] Green.

Green said there's no money in the state budget for student driver training.

"If it's not in the state budget then we obviously will not being going forward with it here, locally," he said.

Complicating matters was word that declines in state sales and income tax revenues may cause the General Assembly to cut an additional $13.9 million.

If that happened, Green said he would look at closing the gap with more administrative cuts, money from the district's reserves and furloughs or salary reductions.

"The equivalent of two days for employees that make $25,000 or more." he said.

Green said he planned to ask county commissioners for more money this year to maintain the district's core operations.

"I am hopeful that the county commissioners will appreciate the needs that we have in our district and that they will make children a top priority as we go through this process," he said.

Looks like the commissioners are prioritizing their friends.

Many thanks. It was easy. I just hope they don't each hit me up for the hundred bucks.
