Talk about a conflict of visions!?! Wow! “….tax-paying citizens who get up early” eludes to a traditional republican right-wing line about being a good taxpayer. Immediately followed by “…trying to be a credit to the community” which is a collectivist view that the abstract concept of community is an entity in and of itself that requires tribute, rather than community merely being an abstract concept being made up of individuals and actions/decisions thereof.
Hence a good citizen is a tax generator who pays such tax in tribute to the collective. Wow! Further, others outside this tax and pay scenario are:
(1) “They generally disdain the rules of common courtesy which are necessary to get along in a civilized society.”,
