On the "private funding" for the Performing Arts Center

In politics, nothing happens by accident.

If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way.

Franklin D. Roosevelt

"The plan would work only with enough private funding to make up the difference.

Find a site and work to secure the private funding.

Instead, they should delay until the private funding is in hand.

Perkins and others offer a strong argument
that a downtown GPAC will deliver the biggest bang for the buck
-- if private funding is part of the mix."

Robin, Doug and Allen

If Robbie Perkins, Roy Carroll, Ralph Johnson, Ed Kitchen,
Ed Wolverton, Dawn Chaney, Lane Schiffman, Susan Schwartz,
Frank Auman Jr., Robin Saul, Chester Brown, Betty Cone, Keith Holladay,
Milton Kern, Jim Melvin, Skip Moore and Walker Sanders
were on the committee that thunk up the PAC,
how could the private funding not already be in place?

Where else could "private funding" come from?
