A BILL TO BE ENTITLED


AN ACT TO ELIMINATE THE OPTION OF STRAIGHT-PARTY TICKET VOTING ON  BALLOTS IN NORTH CAROLINA.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
SECTION 1. G.S. 163-165.6(e) is repealed.
SECTION 2. G.S. 163-182.1(a)(7) is repealed.
SECTION 3. This act is effective when it becomes law.

It is time this bill becomes law and the straight party ticket become a thing of the past.
