Still no response from Allen Johnson on the news industry's complicity in the mess we're in, as of April 4, 2011

The relatively muffled response to the news that GE had a zero tax bill
is hard to understand.

...GE made worldwide profits in 2010 of $14.2 billion,
$5.1 billion of it came from its U.S. businesses...

It not only paid no taxes but claimed a tax benefit of $3.2 billion.

Where is the outrage?

Where are the overdue demands for an overhaul of federal tax laws,
not to mention the state ones?

Where is the tea party when we need it most?

"How can any one industry be blamed more than the news industry?

Who owns NBC?

Who owns FOX?

Not in one place do I recall any news outlet anywhere mention that Michael Bloomberg,
who said "suck it up" to our kids being charged for a tax break extention,
that Mr. Bloomberg could make about another $300 million over the two years extention.

That Britney Spears could make about another $6 million,
I did not see anywhere.

The news industry has been compromised.

How much will the CEO of Landmark make over the next two years?

How about the CEO of ABC, and Viacom?

How about Google's 3% tax rate while we tried to woo them to adopting Greensboro?"
