Sympathies and regret for those about to lose their jobs
before...City Council borrows to build a money losing swimming pool
that will cause more elimination of civil service livelyhoods.
Shame on us.

Those changes will eliminate two director jobs.
...the Housing and Community Development and Planning departments will merge, eliminating a third department head position.
The changes are likely to save the city on salaries...
...Changes to the other four departments will also provide for some efficiencies..."
